** Hybrid/home working. The role includes out of hours on-call (1 in 4) and hardware maintenance tasks which may require site visits to the Folkestone offices. This role will suit candidates within commutable distance **

Right now, we are looking for an Infrastructure Team Lead to work in our Technology Operations Team. You will be responsible for leading a small team of technology engineers who support and maintain the IT infrastructure that supports the business. You will do this by delivering outstanding service and providing network ownership for challenges across the technology estate.

This role will be best suited to a technical expert with a strong background in infrastructure design, project delivery and support. Ideally you will have held a team lead or acting team lead role.

Main Responsibilities

  • As an Infrastructure Team Lead, you will be a technical escalation point who manages the day-to-day operations of a team within the infrastructure team. You will define, and drive adherence to, procedures and best practices for both the support service and the development of the infrastructure. 

  • You will be our subject matter expert and demonstrate elevated expertise of infrastructure, at scale, across multiple environments, for example: Public cloud, private cloud, and on-premises 

  • Owning the delivery and resolution of project actions, technical problems & incidents.  

  • You will have to liaise with internal and external partners, including user groups, technical IT consultants and project managers. 

  • Demonstrate an elevated level of technical expertise in Microsoft technologies and virtualisation. 

  • Support the technology operations management team in developing and delivering innovative technology initiatives.
