...And right now, we are looking for a Partner Relationship Manager within our digital marketing team. As Partner Relationship Manager you will work with multiple internal and external stakeholders to build new commercial relationships as well as nurturing those existing relationships.  

You should be a highly skilled negotiator, able to utilize your fine-tuned communication skills and strategic know-how for the best business outcomes. Your ability to display a high level of emotional intelligence, will be key in building and developing our commercial relationships. You should be self-driven and able to successfully manage multiple priorities, whilst keeping our customers at the heart of everything you do.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensuring effective business relationships and ongoing professional management of our price comparison partners to help deliver the business strategy – you will lead and present on account meetings and be the main point of contact for our partners. 

  • Lead on commercial discussions with existing and new partners as required – you will manage and arrange all audits delivering a positive outcome for both Saga and our partners and you will be responsible for all existing and new contractual agreements following Saga’s contractual governance process 

  • Lead commercial negotiations with our price comparison partners to agree CPA (cost per acquisition) costs within allocated budgets and agree exclusive partnerships to drive sales volume and profitability in line with strategic goals  

  • Partner closely with our Marketing, Product, Digital, Pricing, Finance, IT and Legal departments to help deliver key business objectives and needs 

  • Help shape, design, support and deliver ongoing footprint expansion, growth and customer journey improvements for all price comparison products 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Knowledge of general insurance and personal finance markets, products and practices, with particular focus on price comparison sites for all related products would be advantageous 

  • Knowledge of all general insurance and personal finance products across Saga is desirable 

  • Prior project management experience is desirable 

  • Excellent personal communication and presentation skills, able to come across as a professional, credible, respected representative of Saga is essential 

  • Strong virtual team management skills with the ability to work collaboratively across all functions both internally and externally is essential
